Deuteronomy 5:5-7

5 At that time I was standing between the Lord and you to relate to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid of the fire and you did not go up on the mountain.

Then the Lord said:

6 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt, where you were slaves.[a]

7 You shall have no other gods beside me.[b]
